ABOUT michael Bridges

Michael received his initial voice acting training in the UCLA Elocution and Dramatic Reading curriculuum.
He received additional coaching from dancer, author and audiobook producer, Laurel van der Linde, at the TVI Actors Studio in Los Angeles. Laurel produced Michael's original AUDIO SAMPLES featured on this site.
Michael has recorded multiple TV and radio spots for Nickleodeon, performed in various live-action re-enactment segments on The History Channel, narrated financial webinars for Pacific Trading Academy and voiced personal motivational affirmations and meditations for private clients. His current projects are listed in AUDIOBOOKS IN PRODUCTION and most recently completed audiobooks can be seen on his narrator's page on AUDIBLE.COM
Vocally, he has an age range from child to senior; he can perform multiple character voices; do several accents (Southern US, New York/Jersey, Texan, Russian, Italian, German); and, is familiar with medical, legal and financial terminology.

He is, or has been, a native Californian, Eagle Scout with bronze palm, recipient of the BSA God & Country Award, UCLA grad, honorably discharged from the 313th Military Intelligence Detachment, 63rd ARCOM, U.S. Army, graduate of Southwestern Law School, civil trial lawyer, registered Commody Trading Advisor, and teacher of technical analysis of financial markets.
His unique skills include touch typing, 5-string bluegrass banjo, 12-string acoustic guitar, swimming, snorkeling, sky diving, bungee jumping, Shaolin Kempo karate and loading & firing blackpowder firearms - flintlock and percussion.

Michael is the proud father of three adult children and resides in the Los Angeles area with his wife of over 40 years and their two dogs, Orville and Wilbur, actual brothers from the same litter.
